Today was quite busy, yet not busy. I got the call from work around 11 and was told to get out to maryland asap. So, I did and when I got there my job was to get an emissions test done on my boss' car. I waited in line a good 45 min to an hour, but hey, i was getting paid for it. I stayed but like 3 hours on site, because I wanted to get home in time for the Washington Wizards game. At this point, it's like 5pm when i get home and all I had to eat were mini muffins! I talk to Gretel and she's like "i'll be there in 15 minutes." I'm freakin out cuz I had to change and find something to eat because i'm starving! I get ready and go downstairs to look for something to eat and... OH NO! There isn't anything but chips and snacks! I mean i could microwave something, but that would require time... So I ate a few chips in hopes that I don't pass out later on in the night. My ride came and we headed to the metro because parking in DC for a game at the MCI center is just dumb. I was introduced to an area where one could park for free and use the metro and that was exciting! (side note: During the car ride, I made a bet with Gretel. She said the wizards would win, and I agreed and said that they would win by 4 points and she said that they'd win by 5.) Oh, for you Arlingtonians, DID YOU KNOW that there is an Underground Mall?? Ok, if you did... yeah i'm real slow and just found that out today, haha.
So we head into the MCI center and get our tickets while we wait for Erica to arrive. During our wait, we saw that they were handing out water bottles at the entrance! FREE STUFF!!! I KNOW!!! I was real excited to enter at this point, because I could definitely use a water bottle for when I work out. So Erica arrives and she gets her ticket and we make our way inside. here it comes... free stuff time....ANDDDD..... crap. Yeah, they're water bottles, but they don't say Washington Wizards on them or anything. It says something about "Unforgivable Blackness, The rise and fall of Jack Johnson" and has a picture of the back of a boxer. Ok, isn't Jack Johnson a famous artist? Anyway, that bummed me out, but I was quickly rejuvinated when we were on our way to get our Washington Wizards Tsunami charity bands.
They are like those "LIVESTRONG" bands. I never wanted a livestrong band cuz everyone and their mom had one, so I was excited to get this one that says "Washington Wizards" and "Pure Energy" on them. See, once we entered, we needed to go to section 119. Turns out we walked around the whole stadium to get there! If we simply turned right at the entrance, it would have been right there... boy did we feel stupid; but hey, it was exercise! It was quite an exciting game with all the little fun shindigs that went on during timeouts and halftime. It came to a one point game within the last minute so that was exciting. It turned out however, that the Wizards did win! By how much you ask?? 4 points!!! Hell yeah I called that game. I've been bragging about it all night, so now that this is published, it will forever be bragged about! yesssssssssssssssssss (napoleon). Ah yes, so end of the game and I still haven't eaten *grumble*. After the game, Gretel was nice enough to stop by Subway on the way home. That definitely hit the spot and was ready to head back home. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day! Waking up at 9 to get my haircut, heading to maryland to work from 11 to 7, dinner with dad, then pack to go back to Tech! Yikes, maybe I should have packed earlier... regretting that right now. Anyway, hope all youz guyz had a nice day.

Wow... yeah I know, I'm actually writing in my blog. Sadly this is my second attempt. All I wanted was a f'n spell check, and it erased everything I wrote. I had some good shit going too, i'll have to see if i can replicate some of it.
Well, this is to all youz guys who complained about me not writing in my blog. All I have to say is, is that blogs are a way of expressing ones self (patriotic music playing in the background), blogs can be anything you dream it to be, your personal haven to share yourself with people, my way may be a bit unorthodox to your typical Blog, but hey, I just want to share things with you and if you can't dig it, then well... thats your business.
I just thought that this would be a nice time to create a textual entry since it would be a nice change and that it looks like "Act II" won't be in production until the school year starts up again. So, with a look back at last semester, I say it went by rather quickly and slowly as it came to a close. Finals have a way of making time incredibly slow and find that rather amazing. Luckily for me, I was able to bump my GPA above a 3.0. I guess all that forcing myself into solitude for a lot of the time and studying really paid off for me in the end. This semester was also nice because I was able to meet some new people. Big up to all those new buds and big up to my dear old friends as well.
This break has been nice and relaxing. It has definitely been the cure to this previous semester. I hope everyone had a nice christmas and New Year. I'd have to say my favorite present I received was the guitar distorter. I've been messing around with it a lot and it seems Unintentional Sand will be back in the studio soon. Another thing that is exciting about break being almost over is that all shows will be back from reruns. This means 11 straight episodes of The OC, Desperate Housewives is back, along with Drawn Together, standing beside with the George Lopez show. I'm trying to have one show for each day of the week... So far I have a Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Well, it seems as though our Hokies lost to Auburn in the Sugarbowl. I'm not complaining however. I'm proud our guys could make it to a BCS bowl from a 2-2 record! Also, you could just see that they outplayed us that first half. So if you are wondering what I did this break, I'd have to say a lot of nothing. I worked for a few days and that has been on and off. I was with my friends for New Years and hung out with Christina more than I thought I would. Oh, I got to see Nestor and Justin one weekend. We all (nestor, justin, xtina, me) hung out at Gravelly Point throwing around the football and went to DC to the Natural History Museum. The museum was exciting since I haven't been to one since I was a kid. Now that I am more mature and educated, I felt I could appreciate the displays more, and I did.
I want to give a shout out to Lazo and Mikey on their birthdays this month. Lazo, Mr. 21 and Mike who is now 20. Which spurs another topic. Holy shit we're getting old guys. Now I'm gonna be saying my friends are in their 20's... ::shudder:: I'm the baby of the group, so I have a little ways to go, but choo know... wow. So long have I thought I could avoid being 20 and stay in the teens for the rest of my life. But I guess we gotta move on huh? We sure do. All of us are gonna be something one day, and even then we all better still be in touch and keeping each other updated. I won't have it any other way!
Let's see... it's January which means Superbowl! Well, since I told myself that this season my favorite teams were gonna be the Lions and the Falcons (mainly because of our two recent Virginia Tech players being drafted to the NFL went to those teams), and only one of them are in the playoffs, my prediction is going to be Falcons win it all and they are going up against Big Ben and the Steelers in the Superbowl. Its scary with Tom Brady's Patriots and Peyton's Colts in it as well, but come this Saturday, one of them will be out of the picture.
I'm going to add a new segment in my blog's from now on. For Christmas I received a "Fact or Crap" Daily calander. I will give you that day's Fact or Crap and I will start today!
